Thanks for checking out my game.

This is my first ever game jam i have participated in - The GMTK Game Jam 2020 (Theme: Out Of Control), however i forgot to upload the .pck file so i removed it from the submissions. The premise behind the game is changing gravity. All art and sound is made by me.

Controls:

W or Up Arrow = Jump

A or Left Arrow = Move Left

D or Right Arrow = Move Right

S or Down Arrow = Drop Through Platforms

Escape = Pause

Goal of the game: To collect as many coins as you can in the time limit. Each coin adds an additional 2 seconds onto the clock, but also decreases the time by 0.4 seconds with the gravity rotation until it reaches 7 seconds for every change in gravity.

Special Thanks to:

- Godot for making the game possible

- Bosca Ceoil for making the sound possible

- Adobe Photoshop for making the sound possible

If you have any suggestions, or reviews feel free to leave it below, otherwise enjoy the game!

Good job on the game! There's some problem with the music, it gets all glitchy for some reason, maybe it's a browser thing. I think the "get +2 seconds per coin" it a bit redundant, because it doesn't add much to the experience. The concept is neat, although I would try going further with new mechanics in various areas of the level. I played on normal and got to 40 points.

Good luck!

I agree that the +2 seconds per coin, doesn’t add enough to be justifiable. I may add it to another collectible as an addition. Thanks for trying the game!

Post GMTK 2020 Jam "Jam" review:

I think it's interesting that the platforms change while the player and the coins stay the same. I'd expand on that and make maybe different levels with different layouts. If you want to keep it at one endless level I'd think about spicing it up with new mechanics. Overall the movement could be quite a bit faster and the jump maybe too. On my second and third try I got a bug where I couldn't collect any coins and was randomly floating around!

Hi, Thanks for the feedback! I think that I may change up the levels, to add some variety to the game. The bug should be fixed.
